San Francisco: The Final Day and Part II of Shark Fin Cove
Our final full day in San Francisco was going to be a busy one. The group had plans to shoot the sunset at Treasure Island as well as go back to Shark Fin Cove, but before we could do that about half of us were going to a meet and greet with the man himself, Trey Ratcliff. The meet and greet was amazing and it was nice to spend some time chatting with Trey. And then we were off, the marathon of shooting continues as we headed to meet up with the group on Treasure Island. We got a very colorful yet cloud free night so it was a challenge to shoot, but well worth it in the end. This night was relaxing and rewarding all at the same time. I spent the time looking back on the couple days we just spent racing around San Francisco, shooting iconic locations as well as hidden ones and I couldn't have asked for any other way to end it. As the sun continued to fall more and more Arcanum people started showing up and witnessing the camaraderie between everyone there really does inspire you. This is a shot of the Golden Gate on a very colorful evening. What is amazing about Treasure Island is you get a view of the Golden Gate on one side and an amazing view of the San Francisco Skyline on the other.Once our skyline and sunset photo's were complete we hopped in the cars for the 2 hour drive back to Shark Fin Cove. When we arrived, we realized the moon was not going to be nice to us that night, however even with the light of the moon Shark Fin Milky way dreams would not be let down. Since it was my second time there in just as many days I got the advantage of walking around and shooting Shark Fin from all different angles. One of my favorite shots from this trip ended being a shot I knew I had but my editing skills for the Milky Way weren't quite there yet. After almost 6 months of practice and working the Milky Way I finally felt up to the task and am very pleased with the results. I hope you like "All together Now"From this angle I was also able to get a group shot of the Arcanum folks shooting away on the beach!I hope you like the pictures if you did please subscribe and get more stories just like these emailed to you.
