The start of the new year has been a little rough for me in the world of taking pictures. My first outing I drove around for a few hours only to return home with very few shots and only one out of the bunch that was any good. My second outing, I spent three hours shooting this one particular spot that encompassed a perfect winter scene. Lots of snow, a frozen river, and even some rushing water coming through the ice, but after setting up for my final sunset
With winter bearing down on most of us, I thought I would take us back to a slightly warmer time, Fall! For our last camping trip this year my buddy and I decided to camp in Gunnison and head through Telluride in search of some fall color. Fall among the aspens of Colorado is one of the most beautiful sites you can witness. Tall golden aspens line the towering mountains along the road, as the mountains begin to prepare for the winter onslaught. The scene goes on for days
This past summer, I had the most amazing privilege of hanging out with an amazing family of Bald Eagles. I watched the babies grow, learn to fly and then eventually leave the nest. The entire experience was breathtaking. After my last visit where I saw Dad and two of the babies, I kept returning hoping to find all three babies and even get a glimpse of Mom.
